Physicians’ Care Network (PCN) is a not-for-profit corporation; specifically, an independent physicians' association (IPA). The IPA was organized in 1993 and remains under the control of a physician-only Board of Directors. We comprehensively cover 11 counties which includes Alachua, Bradford, Columbia, Dixie, Hamilton, Gilchrist, Lafayette, Levy, Marion, Suwannee and Union.

The goal of the IPA is to make the lives of physicians and practice managers easier.  We do this in two ways:  execution of fair, balanced contracts with managed care organizations and health plans which will direct volume; and using the size of the IPA to negotiate rates for services and supplies used by physician practices.
